Enviva Care hailed as ‘outstanding’ for the second time by the CQC

Alton based live-in care company, Enviva Care, has been praised by the Care Quality Commission for being outstandingly caring.

Achieving the highest possible rating for the second time, the inspector who visited in March 2019 commented that the company continued to demonstrate “a strong, visible, person-centred culture” and that “people received exceptionally caring, kind and empathic care from staff”

The service was applauded for truly respecting people as individuals and for empowering them as partners in their care. The culture of continuous learning and improvement was complimented with staff at the heart of the service commenting that they felt “happy and supported” in their role and valued by an office team who ensured open and transparent communication.

Individuals and their families who use the service commented that Enviva’s care “goes above and beyond expectations” being exceptionally well led with a culture that promotes high-quality person-centred care,
